Amy is an exhibiting artist. Her recent subject matter focus is on seascape, landscape and animals. In her paintings, she captures the central essence of the subject matter and convey it to the viewer. The ultimate satisfaction is to reach out and touch the viewer deeply.

 

Amy has lived and worked in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, and Geneva before settling in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute and worked over ten years in advertising studios in New York City before pursuing her passion in fine arts painting for over twenty years.

 

Her paintings have been juried in to prestigious national and international art shows: American Women Artists, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, Oil Painters of America Salon, and Western Regional and Salon International. Her paintings are in private collections both in the U.S. and overseas.

 

Since early 2012, she has been invited to teach drawing and painting in the San Francisco East Bay Area. The results and experience have been extremely fulfilling all around.
